We explore ideas and embrace novel approaches to co-create 'on the way play' projects that elevate play and kick-start positive place-based action.

Collaborating with creatives, local authorities, communities, planners and business, we activate the possibilities of play and turn ideas into ‘on the ground’ projects.

Projects
On The Way Play SK
We’re excited to introduce two innovative pilot projects trying out new ways to elevate the power of play on our streets and infuse playfulness into our everyday journeys here in Edgeley in Stockport.
A Child’s Eye View
We’ve mapped a series of playful routes around Edgeley, thoughtfully designed through the lens of local children.
Portable Play Time
We’ve added a play and dwell area on Castle Street and are celebrating with on-street community events that embrace play, active travel and promote positive climate action.

Both pilots are a collaboration with the Climate Action Now team at Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council supported by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
We’ll be seeking local people’s feedback on the pilots during the pilot period and updating you on project progress here and on our socials.
